We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Commercial Manager to support a high-profile programme within the UK Defence and Intelligence community.

This is a customer-facing role requiring strong commercial leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operate effectively within highly secure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial engagement with customers and key stakeholders across the UK Defence and Intelligence sector.
  • Manage complex commercial arrangements and contracts with UK Government and MOD organisations.
  • Support contract negotiations, amendments, renewals, and change control activities.
  • Negotiate and agree commercial terms and conditions, ensuring appropriate risk allocation and compliance.
  • Provide commercial guidance to programme, delivery, and leadership teams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior MOD and customer stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks while supporting programme objectives.

Essential Experience

  • Current Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance – active and transferable.
  • Extensive experience in a customer-facing commercial management role.
  • Strong understanding of complex UK MOD contracting environments.
  • Demonstrable experience engaging with senior MOD stakeholders and government customers.
  • Proven track record negotiating commercial terms, conditions, and contractual frameworks.
  • Experience managing commercial risk within large-scale Defence, Intelligence, or National Security programmes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience within the UK Intelligence Community or highly classified Defence programmes.
  • Knowledge of public sector procurement and government commercial frameworks.
  • Familiarity with technology, digital, systems integration, or managed service contracts.
