Hybrid working, 1-2 days a week in London

Our client are an impressive market leading company in the infrastructure services sector. They currently have an opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team and focus on leading a significant portfolio of key accounts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working across the full contract lifecycle, and will need significant customer facing contract management experience.

The role:

 

Identify the risks, liabilities and commitments of contractual agreements; ensure these are clearly understood and that the business fully appreciates any potential impact.

Reviewing, drafting, updating and maintaining contract documents

Monitoring and reporting performance and compliance against contractual obligations including commercial performance, financial management and contract management

Monitoring stakeholder satisfaction

Working with the contract delivery teams to ensure that the management of change request process and change implementation is carried out in line with the contracts.

Reporting on progress of change requests and projects

Reviewing contract performance, assessing commercial risks and ensuring appropriate steps are taken to manage the risk

Preventing and resolving contractual disputes

Supporting the client engagement teams in all commercial aspects, post contract signature, to achieve the orders, profit and cash budget and overall management of the Client relationship.

Support the delivery streams who are responsible for the delivery of projects and provide clear direction working with the client engagement team.

 

The person:

 

Experience of working in a pre and post contract signature environment would be ideal

Sector experience is not essential. Financial Services industry knowledge would be advantageous

Experience of negotiation with blue chip or large private sector suppliers.
