Are you an experienced Senior Commercial Manager with a strong background in defence contracts? We are recruiting for a leading organisation delivering cutting-edge solutions to the defence sector. This role will focus on managing complex defence contracts, including bidding, pre-signature negotiations, and post-contract delivery.
The Role:
As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of high-value defence contracts. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and government stakeholders to ensure commercial success, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial activities across defence contracts, ensuring successful delivery.
- Oversee the bidding process, ensuring competitive and compliant proposals.
- Negotiate, draft, and manage contracts with key clients, suppliers, and government bodies.
- Ensure compliance with MOD, regulatory, and security frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Provide strategic commercial guidance to internal teams and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams to support business objectives.
About You:
- Proven experience in a senior commercial/contracts management role.
- Strong knowledge of defence contracts, including MOD frameworks and international agreements.
- Experience managing bids, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Excellent negotiation, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to operate in a high-security, regulated environment.
- Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).
