Contract Length: 12 months

We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Commercial Consultant to support a key programme within a secure defence environment. This 12-month interim assignment requires a confident and proactive commercial professional who can operate effectively within a complex stakeholder landscape while providing strong commercial oversight and support.

Due to the sensitive nature of the programme, current Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide active commercial management across programme activities within a defence environment.
• Support contract delivery by ensuring commercial risks are identified, managed, and mitigated.
• Engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, building strong working relationships.
• Provide commercial insight and advice to programme and delivery teams.
• Ensure contractual obligations are understood and adhered to while protecting commercial outcomes.
• Support negotiations, contract changes, and commercial decision-making.
• Work collaboratively across programme teams to ensure commercial governance and processes are followed.

Key Skills & Experience

• Active DV (Developed Vetting) clearance – mandatory requirement.
• Strong commercial management experience within defence or secure government environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
• Proactive, confident, and self-starting approach to problem solving and delivery.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing contractual risk and change.
