An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Lead to join a major Defence programme supporting critical UK naval systems.
This role offers the chance to play a key part in delivering strategic procurement and supply chain solutions within a complex project environment, ensuring operational effectiveness and supplier performance across high-profile programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement and subcontract negotiation activities
- Manage supplier relationships and performance
- Support demand forecasting, sourcing and inventory control
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks
- Drive supply chain efficiency and best-value delivery
- Support complex Defence and construction-related projects
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience within supply chain/procurement functions
- NEC3 or NEC4 contract experience within construction
- Strong subcontract negotiation and supplier management skills
- Construction procurement experience
- Ability to build strong stakeholder and supplier relationships
- Defence or engineering sector experience beneficial
