We are seeking an experienced DV Cleared Commercial Manager to support a high-profile programme within the UK Defence and Intelligence community.
This is a customer-facing role requiring strong commercial leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to operate effectively within highly secure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial engagement with customers and key stakeholders across the UK Defence and Intelligence sector.
- Manage complex commercial arrangements and contracts with UK Government and MOD organisations.
- Support contract negotiations, amendments, renewals, and change control activities.
- Negotiate and agree commercial terms and conditions, ensuring appropriate risk allocation and compliance.
- Provide commercial guidance to programme, delivery, and leadership teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior MOD and customer stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks while supporting programme objectives.
Essential Experience
- Current Developed Vetting (DV) Clearance – active and transferable.
- Extensive experience in a customer-facing commercial management role.
- Strong understanding of complex UK MOD contracting environments.
- Demonstrable experience engaging with senior MOD stakeholders and government customers.
- Proven track record negotiating commercial terms, conditions, and contractual frameworks.
- Experience managing commercial risk within large-scale Defence, Intelligence, or National Security programmes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience within the UK Intelligence Community or highly classified Defence programmes.
- Knowledge of public sector procurement and government commercial frameworks.
- Familiarity with technology, digital, systems integration, or managed service contracts.
