We are looking for a highly skilled Pre-Signature Commercial Manager to manage complex commercial arrangements and negotiations during the pre-signature phase of our high-value contracts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial and contractual negotiations during the pre-signature phase of nuclear sector projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure all commercial risks and opportunities are fully identified, understood, and managed in line with corporate and legal frameworks.
  • Draft, review, and finalise commercial terms and conditions, ensuring they align with strategic and financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project management teams to ensure cohesive contract development and delivery.
  • Provide strategic input to bids, tenders, and proposals, ensuring competitive and commercially sound solutions.
  • Monitor compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies during the contract preparation phase.
  • Conduct financial assessments, cost analysis, and risk management to support decision-making.
  • Report to senior management on the status of negotiations, key risks, and potential issues in contract finalization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial management, contract negotiations, or procurement, ideally in the nuclear, energy, or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of nuclear sector regulations and safety standards is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with high-value contracts and complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
