Location: Mostly remote (with a few office visits per month)

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance & Package

We’re partnering with a leading IT & Technology organisation to recruit a Category Manager – Telco to join their growing Procurement & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and manage the organisation’s telecoms category strategy, working across multiple high-value projects in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the telecoms category strategy within a large IT/Tech organisation.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance across key telco providers.
• Drive cost savings, innovation, and best practice procurement within the telecoms category.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial and regulatory objectives are met.
• Support continuous improvement across procurement processes and practices.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in the telecoms category within an IT, Tech, or large-scale organisation.
• Security Clearance (SC) desirable, or the ability to obtain SC clearance.
• Strong procurement and commercial expertise, including supplier and contract management.
• Experience with CIPS Foundation (or equivalent professional procurement qualification) is desirable.
• Track record of delivering value through category management, sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
