Are you a seasoned commercial professional ready to shape and lead high-stakes, multi-domain deals on a global scale? We’re seeking a Commercial Director to drive the commercial and contractual structuring of complex bids for large multinational clients.
About the Role
You’ll be the strategic commercial lead on large, multifaceted opportunities—working hand-in-hand with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Solution Architects to shape winning propositions. From opportunity qualification to contract signature, your expertise in Terms and conditions, risk mitigation, and commercial strategy will be pivotal in delivering competitive and operationally sound solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial and financial structuring of large, complex ICT and outsourcing bids.
- Act as the primary commercial interface for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Negotiate terms and build business cases aligned with internal objectives and customer needs.
- Mitigate and manage commercial risk across contractual, financial, and operational dimensions.
- Coordinate cross-functional bid teams and ensure smooth transition from bid to delivery.
- Present commercial strategies and risk assessments to internal executive stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant business experience, including 5+ years in commercial roles within telecommunications or IT.
- Strong track record structuring large-scale outsourcing or managed services contracts.
- Excellent financial acumen and risk management capabilities.
- Proven ability to create and negotiate complex terms supported by solid financial business cases.
- Broad understanding of IT and technology services (e.g., Managed Networks, Hosting, Voice, Mobile, Cybersecurity).
- Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, or related field); MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred.
- Training in contracts and negotiations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage C-level stakeholders.
