Job Details
We are working closely with one of our Software clients and are looking for highly motivated professional to support our global commercial and contract management team.
As a contracts manager leading contracting support for the APAC region, you will be responsible for working alongside our Sales, Pre-sales, Delivery and Technical Account Partner teams to lead the negotiation of software licences, professional services and partnership agreements across the region. This will involve working closely alongside the Legal teams and the Head of Commercial in negotiating contractual terms and providing post contract management on complex agreements and projects.
What you’ll be doing.
- Reporting into the Head of Commercial and the wider commercial team, the typical responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and negotiating commercial agreement terms and pricing
- Highlighting onerous terms for escalation and legal review under internal commercial policy
- Assisting sales and delivery teams with deal structuring around contract models and pricing
- In contract life cycle management for complex projects including change management and identified risk mitigation
- Reviewing commercial elements of bids and contracts
- Supporting RFP management and helping with response co-ordination
- Requirements
What you’ll bring.
- Experience of drafting and negotiating complex supplier contracts within Tier 1 Financial Services and either Insurance, Telecoms or Public Sector organisations
- Experience of a similar role within a software provider or a consultancy business and experience of drafting professional services engagements
- Experience of working across different countries in the APAC region, such as Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Australia
- An understanding of drafting contracts for partner agreements
- Experience of, or the desire to implement processes into a function
- Determination to succeed in challenging circumstances
- Ability to be an independent decision maker but, equally, inclusive when evaluating options
