We’re seeking an ambitious procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of indirect spend categories within a complex and innovative organisation.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across a broad range of indirect spend categories, including professional services, facilities, IT, marketing, and business services.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive value, efficiency, and supplier performance.
- Manage supplier selection, tendering, negotiation, and contract award processes.
- Negotiate commercial terms and supplier agreements to deliver cost savings and mitigate risk.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring service levels and business requirements are consistently met.
- Support contract management activities throughout the supplier lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple business functions to understand requirements and deliver effective procurement solutions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continued development of procurement best practices.
About you:
- Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Engineering, Technology, or another fast-paced regulated environment.
- Proven background in indirect procurement and strategic sourcing.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Experience across a variety of indirect spend categories.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Comfortable working within a rapidly growing organisation where priorities can evolve quickly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
