We are partnering with a global, market-leading IT organisation to appoint an Interim Legal Counsel for an initial 3–6 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing, international legal team in a customer-facing role supporting cutting-edge technology and software solutions across multiple jurisdictions.
The Role
You will act as a key legal advisor to the commercial team, working closely with stakeholders across the business. This is a broad and dynamic role with a strong focus on software and IT licensing, contract negotiation, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising on, drafting, and negotiating complex IT and software licensing agreements
- Supporting customer-facing commercial negotiations with global clients
- Providing guidance on contract compliance and risk management
- Assisting with public sector and government contracting (where applicable)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, procurement, and delivery
About You
- Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years’ PQE
- Strong experience in IT and/or software licensing is essential
- Proven track record in a customer-facing, commercial legal role
- Exposure to government or public sector contracting is advantageous
- Solid understanding of contract compliance and regulatory considerations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
