Interim Quantity Surveyor – (CR/007224)

Location: Remote (UK based)

Rate: Competitive inside IR35 day rate

Contract Length: Initial 9 month contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of a critical subcontract package within a complex, highly regulated engineering / shipbuilding environment.

This opportunity sits with a globally recognised shipbuilding and engineering organisation specialising in the design, construction, and maintenance of a wide range of vessels, including naval ships, offshore support vessels, and complex maritime infrastructure. The business operates at the forefront of innovation, delivering technically advanced projects across international markets within a highly regulated framework.

• Manage the full commercial lifecycle of a key subcontract package
• Administer contracts in line with agreed terms
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory, contractual, and audit requirements
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts
• Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
• Handle variations, change control, and claims management
• Work closely with project managers, engineering teams, and supply chain partners
• Provide accurate cost reporting and forecasting
