I’m currently supporting a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to join a highly innovative, technology-led defence organisation operating in a complex, international environment.
This is a key role where you’ll take ownership of commercial strategy, contract management, and risk mitigation across a diverse project portfolio. You’ll be working closely with senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and driving best-in-class commercial practices.
Key highlights:
- Lead on contract negotiations and commercial governance
- Manage in-life agreements & secure next phase of contract awards
- Manage risk, compliance, and contractual performance end-to-end
- Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, and project delivery
- Play a key role in shaping commercial strategy on high-value, complex programmes
What we’re looking for:
- Strong background in commercial or contract management (ideally 5+ years)
- Experience in complex, regulated, or international environments
- Ideally have experience in the Aerospace or Defence sector
- Confident negotiator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid understanding of contract law, compliance, and risk management alongside pricing and financials
Experience within sectors such as defence, aerospace, government, or large-scale engineering projects would be advantageous, but not essential.
