Defence Communications (Land & Maritime)

Are you an experienced commercial professional looking to work on cutting-edge defence communications projects? We are recruiting for a leading organisation delivering advanced land and maritime communication solutions for the defence sector.

The Role:

As a Senior Commercial Officer, you will play a key role in managing and negotiating contracts for defence communications systems, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting strategic business decisions. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive commercial success in a highly regulated and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support commercial activities across defence communications contracts.
• Negotiate, draft, and review agreements with clients, suppliers, and government entities.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
• Provide commercial guidance to internal teams and senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and legal teams to support business objectives.

About You:

• Proven experience in a commercial/contracts management role.
• Understanding of defence communications across land and maritime domains.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
• Eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC level).
