Location: Reading area (3 days per week in the office for the first 4–6 months, then flexible hybrid working)

We’re supporting a leading UK-based technology company that develops innovative, mobile, clinician-focused software systems for the healthcare sector. Their award-winning solutions are helping hospitals improve patient safety, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial contracts, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and support key business functions through strong commercial governance.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Maintain day-to-day contract compliance by driving internal and external review meetings on performance and delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks.
- Ensure robust commercial processes and documentation are in place, addressing and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote understanding and consistency across all matters relating to contract delivery.
- Draft, review, and negotiate new and existing contract terms and conditions to protect company interests.
- Support the sales and bid teams to ensure commercial integrity and compliance with customer terms and internal policies.
- Implement and maintain best-practice commercial procedures, including documentation management systems.
- Provide ad hoc advice on commercial matters and contribute to continuous improvement within the function.
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a similar contracts or commercial management role.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to draft, interpret, and negotiate terms with both suppliers and customers.
- Confident communicator able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (desired)
